Penciled this comic a few days ago, inked Tuesday night, and lettered this morning. Happy Thanksgiving and there should be a new strip done...hopefully.
Finished drawing this strip late last night, but didn't scan in and letter it till today. Didn't realize how quick it would be to finish the rest in the computer. Speaking of comics, I went to the SF show "APE" yesterday and had a good time. I found an empty table and was able to get an exhibitors badge and had a set-up of my comics and sketchbooks for sale. Sold a few comics but still a fun time and next year I should be prepared for the show.
A new strip, but its a page-ful and a new segment may begin. I had a great time at the "From the Land Beyond" convention last week and there are some shots of me at Jose Angeles' blog.
Apologies for missing another week. Another strip is up and when I typed in "moving on to something else" in my last post, I meant story arc wise for "Cartworks" and not shutting down "Cartworks" yet.
P.S. - Please Reblog this post (Tumblr users only)
A new strip of "Cartworks" is up and was inked with a new dip pen nib which worked nicely for me. Continuing with the changes for the Cart-Attendant's role, there should be a couple strips before I move on to something else. Anyways, please reblog (for Tumblr users) so other people on the web can find out about this comic strip.
After two weeks, a new "Cartworks" strip is finally posted! Had an frustrating moment with inking this strip because two newly purchased pen nibs I own decided not to ink correctly. I broke them both and inked with my Pitt pens instead to get the strip finished and online. See you next week!
Hope everyone had a good Father's Day! This strip took longer for me because of the ink or dip pens I'm using is starting to either overflow ink with a press or not ink at all!
I draw and sketch a lot aside from
working at my current job. I'am currently working on my webcomic "Cartworks" among other comic projects like "Sunflower Skribblez".
